An arrangement for fixing a cover to the edge of a carrier, esp a film to an inner vehicle lining, comprises a guide (6) and an edge projection (8). The cover is curved around the edge of the carrier section and is fixed to it. A moulding is placed along the guide, and a bending section (11) is linked to it and used to press the free end of the cover to the inside of the carrier.
