PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery and a manufacturing method thereof wherein problems in a conventional method caused by a difficulty in homogeneous dispersion of constitutive elements are solved. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a lithium secondary battery, a solid electrolyte 5 is interposed between a positive electrode 3 and a negative electrode 6 followed by filling into a positive electrode can 1 and a negative electrode can 8, respectively, and the positive electrode 3 and/or the negative electrode 6 are formed by adding a sodium carbonate aqueous solution to a mixed aqueous solution of soluble lithium salt and soluble manganese salt having a ratio of elements of (1.02 to 1.34):(1.66 to 1.98) as lithium:manganese followed by coprecipitation and sintering of lithium carbonate with manganese carbonate. |
