<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner superior in various characteristics and stably manufacturable and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: This toner is manufactured by fixing at least part of fine inorganic particles 2 to the surface of each core particle 1 comprising a a binder resin containing a colorant by heating them in a hot gas stream. The core particles 1 having the fine inorganic particles 2 fixed to the surfaces satisfy the following expression: 2.0×6/(ρD)}>=S>=1.1×6/(ρD)}, where S is the BET specific surface area of the toner,ρis the specific gravity of the toner, and D is the volume average particle diameter.</p> |
