PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity and not causing the lowering of electrification properties even by repetitive use by incorporating a titanyl phthalocyanine pigment giving a specified Raman spectrum. SOLUTION: The dispersion liquid for the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a titanyl phthalocyanine pigment having a basic structure of the formula and exhibiting absorption peaks or shoulder at 483±2 cm-1 and 487±2 cm-1 in its Raman spectrum measured with a light source which emits excitation light of 1,064 nm. In the formula, X1-X4 are each halogen and (n), (m), (l) and (k) are each 0-4. The ratio (I487/I483) of intensity (I487) at 487±2 cm-1 to intensity (I483) at 483±2 cm-1 in the Raman spectrum of the dispersion liquid is <=0.3. The titanyl phthalocyanine pigment also exhibits absorption peaks at 1,450±2 cm-1, 1,301±2 cm-1, 1,102±2 cm-1 and 1,005±2 cm-1.
