PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a camera able to be thin in thickness and small in size by using a plane-shaped capacitor as a capacitor for stroboscope driving power where driving power for strobe light emission is accumulated and juxtaposing a printed wiring board on which the control circuit functions of various operation means of the camera are mounted in parallel with the plane-shaped capacitor. SOLUTION: A main printed wiring board 16, on which a control circuit for controlling the various operation of the camera such as the driving control of a lens frame 12, the control of distance measurement by means of a range- finding means 14, the control of exposure by means of a release switch and the driving control of winding and rewinding film is mounted, is arranged inside an armor 11 on the left side of the frame 12. A stroboscopic printed wiring board 18 on which the circuit for the driving control of the strobe light emission part 15 is mounted is arranged at the upper part of the board 16. Furthermore, the capacitor 17 where driving power energy for strobe light emission is accumulated is arranged on the front side of the board 16. The capacitor 17 is the plane-shaped one whose cross section is rectangular.
