Photoelectric panoramic imaging apparatus has rotary transformer for power transmission to rotary adaptor and photoelectric transmitter for image signals

A line (5) camera is fixed to a rotatable adaptor and has an optical axis that is radial w.r.t. the axis of rotation of the adaptor. An electromagnetic segmented transformer (19) with a central opening is arranged to transfer power for the modules in the rotatable adaptor. The first half segment of the transformer with the primary winding are fixed to a stationary substructure (1), and the second half segment of the transformer with the secondary winding is fixed in the rotatable adaptor, an air gap being provided between the two segments. An optoelectronic transmission path is provided for transmitting image signals form the rotatable adaptor to the stationary substructure. The optoelectronic transmission path consists of a photoelectric transmitter in the adaptor and photoelectric receiver in the substructure, centric around the axis of rotation.
