DIGITAL BROADCAST WAVE QUALITY MONITOR SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the quality of a digital broadcast wave sent from a transmission station in real time. SOLUTION: A transmitter 11 and a receiver 13 are placed in a transmission station. A noise adding device 12 adds a white noise equivalent to a propagation loss caused on the way of propagation of a digital broadcast wave from the transmitter 11 up to an end of its service area to a digital broadcast signal which is received by the receiver 13 and a measurement unit 14 measures a carrier power versus noise ratio of the digital broadcast signal received by the receiver 13.
