<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in a transmission rate due to redundant coding and to avoid redundant coding which becomes invalid by reducing increase in a data quantity due to the redundant coding. SOLUTION: A transmission section T discriminates propriety of reproduction of a clock signal in a reception section R by monitoring a bit arrangement of a transmission data signal that is an original data signal. As a result, when the transmission section T discriminates that the bit arrangement of the transmission data signal is a bit arrangement, by which the reception section can reproduce the clock signal, the transmission section T transmits the transmission data signal without making it a redundant coding, and when the transmission section T discriminates that the bit arrangement of the transmission data signal is a bit arrangement by which the reception section is difficult to reproduce the clock signal, the transmission section T transmits the transmission data signal with redundant coding.</p> |
