PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a surface protective film hard to break in a wiring pattern terminal by means of a tensile force generating outside the bend part of a suspension and to incorporate the terminal into a narrow magnetic disk space. SOLUTION: This mechanism is constituted of a suspension having a spring plate material 8 and supporting a magnetic head, a wiring pattern 4a arranged on the suspension and electrically connected to the magnetic head, a surface protective film 10 for covering the wiring pattern 4a, and a terminal part connecting to FPC through a bend part which is bent nearly in the vertical direction with the spring plate material 8 as the inside and with the wiring pattern 4a as the outside. In this case, the terminal part is formed with an opening 11 by removing a part of the surface protective film 1a on the wiring pattern 4a so as to be connectible to FPC, and is designated such that a length h1 from the terminating end of the bend part of the starting end of the opening 11 is made longer than twice the thickness t at the bend part of the spring plate material 8 and made 0.1 mm or less.
