摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head positioning control device of a disk device capable of reducing an influence of static fiction of a sliding type actuator. SOLUTION: A head 1 reads a servo signal from the memory surface of disk media 2 and a positional difference signal generator 5 generates a positional difference signal. The positional difference signal is transmitted through a phase compensator 6 to a power amplifier 8 as a control signal for an actuator 4. The power amplifier 8 transmits a driving current signal to the actuator 4 and the actuator 4 moves the head 1. A friction compensator 7 monitors the control signal of the actuator 4 and outputs the peak value of the control signal when finishing counting of one cycle by counting the servo signal from the point of time when the control signal exceeds the area of a threshold. A switch control part 10 controls a switch 9 and further applies a feed-forward signal to the power amplifier 8 on judging that the movable part of the actuator 4 has not yet moved.
