PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb panel joining body to be decreased in a defect and facilitate manufacture by a method wherein friction agitation joining is applied to joining of a honeycomb panel without elution of an adhesive. SOLUTION: A frame material 33 and a core 35 are nipped between face plates 31 and 32 and adhered together by an epoxy adhesive. In a so constituted honeycomb panel 37, the frame material 33 is protruded from adhesion part between the face plates 31 and 32 by 3-20 T (T is thickness of the face plates 31 and 32). Thereby, the protrusion parts of the frame materials 33 are brought into abutment against each other. Even when friction agitation joining is effected, a temperature increase part due to the friction agitating joining does not reach the adhesion part (an adhesive coated part), the honeycomb panel 37 is excellently joined without effecting elution. Thus, a so obtained honeycomb joint is free from a defect, such as a blow hole, solidification breakage, and looseness of a bolt, and manufacture is also facilitated. |
