The sound absorbing device has a number of sound absorbing plates (10) alongside each other close to the air aperture to absorb sound waves from inside. These plates have a middle part (12) with sound reflecting properties and sound absorbing elements on both sides. They are compact enough to fit easily into the air aperture.
