A composition for stimulating growth of hair is produced by: (1) dissolving potassium thiocyanate (I) in hot water, (2) filtering in a magnetic field and (3) rinsing the filter with water, first in the magnetic field and then away from it. The rinses represent the actual solution and are treated with alcohol and stored as about 35-40% solutions.
