<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable securing position accuracy and width accuracy of a recording track in a digital time-lapse VTR of especially narrow track width multi- segment recording by improving pull-in accuracy at the time of starting. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a rotary drum 1 to which heads 10a, 10b are attached with height different by one track each, a capstan motor 2 feeding a magnetic tape with the prescribed speed, a starting control circuit 7 outputting a control signal starting the capstan motor 2, a detector 4 detecting a FG signal whose frequency is varied in accordance with rotation speed of the capstan motor 2, a speed error compensating circuit 50 outputting a signal by which a speed error is compensated at the time of starting based on an output signal FG of the FG detector 4 and an output control signal of the starting control circuit 7, a capstan control circuit 6 drive-controlling the capstan 2 based on an output signal of the speed error compensating circuit 50, and an information signal generator 8 generating an information signal to be outputted to the heads 10a, 10b.</p> |
