<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record editing history information at the time of editing the constitution information of a product in order to be used effectively for the subsequent editing. SOLUTION: A PDM system, which takes in and edits design information constituting the product and parts related information and manages obtained constitution information of parts in a tree form is provided with a constitution editing recording part 5 which takes in design information of parts and parts related information and which generates editing history information in a prescribed form to record in a recorder 4 at the time of editing the constitution information of parts including an entity file, a constitution merging part 6 which binds constitution information of the product edited by the constitution editing recording part 5 to constitution information of parts comprising an already designed product, and means 2 and 3 which record and manage the bound constitution information of the product in a tree form.</p> |
