摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the degradation in the intrinsic band of a multiple plastic optical fiber and to enable good high speed signal transmission by rotating, integer times, the positions of individual fibers with respect to a fiber central part, which rotate at a specified rotating angle according to the progression of optical fibers, between both ends from the beginning point to the end point of curving of one set of a curled cord. SOLUTION: This curled cord is formed by helically molding the multiple plastic optical fiber. The positions of the individual fibers with respect to the fiber central part at the cross-sectional surface of the optical fibers in curling parts rotate at the specified rotating angle according to the progression of the optical fibers between both ends from the beginning point to the end point of curving of one set of the curled cord are rotated integer times. According to such constitution, the difference in the optical transmission time in the fibers occurring in the formation of the curled cord is surely suppressed and, therefore, there is no degradation in the intrinsic band of the multiple plastic optical fiber and the good high speed signal transmission is made possible.
