PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a service without using any special card by performing personal identification on the basis of a telephone number read from a portable side telephone set. SOLUTION: A portable telephone inserting part 2 is connected to a main control part 10 and when the connector of a portable telephone 9 is inserted, communication is started between the main control part 10 and the portable telephone 9. The main control part 10 reads the telephone number from the portable telephone 9 and performs the personal identification of a user on the basis of that telephone number and the sales data by telephone numbers are stored in a memory M and managed. Concerning the user with the number of sold articles or number of times of article selling exceeding a prescribed number, a money or physical service such as discounting, cash back or present of specified article, mail service utilizing the portable telephone 9 inserted to the portable telephone inserting part 2 or audio service with the voice of a talent is performed.
