摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply detect a deviation of sending direction of a radar. SOLUTION: A cross-shaped reflection body is provided on a wall facing a vehicle on which a radar is mounted. The reflection body is on the direction of setting optical axis of the radar. A detection position Ho of the reflection body to be detected from the direction of setting optical axis is set in the radar. Radar beam is sent by sweeping in the vertical direction and to the right and left centered on the optical axis and is reflected by the wall and the reflection body. Since a reflection rate of the reflection body differs from that of the wall, the reflection body is detected based on the intensity of a reflection signal. A central position of the detected reflection body H is compared with the set detection position Ho to detect a deviation of the direction of optical axis and the direction of setting. Since the same beam as that in actual detection is used to detect the deviation thereof in this way, the detection of deviation with high precision becomes possible even if the vehicle and the wall are put at a short distance, work can be done even in a maintenance factory having a small place, and the reliability as the radar can be maintained.
