PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide color photosensitive material giving a superior cyan image and also giving a cyan image more excellent in discrimination and excellent in hue even by heat development by incorporating a coupler comprising a specified compound. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photosensitive material contains a coupler comprising a pyrrolo[1,2-a]-1,3,5-triazin-4-one compound of the formula, wherein R1 is H or a substituent other than cyano, R2 is alkyl, aryl, a heterocyclic group, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, carbamoyl or the like, R3 is H or a substituent such as alkyl, aryl, alkylthio or heterocyclic thio, X is H or a group which can be released by coupling with the oxidant of a developing agent.
