PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entity relationship(ER) diagram creation aiding method capable of improving visibility and easily editing a large ER diagram. SOLUTION: The ER diagram creation aiding device is provided with a storage means 103 for storing the data of ER models to be constitutional elements constituting an ER diagram and display attributes indicating the sorts of the ER model data, an edition means 102 for editing the data of the ER models stored in the means 103, a display attribute changing means 104 for changing the display attributes 103 of the ER models in accordance with edition processing contents edited by the means 102, and a display changing means 106 for changing a display format in accordance with the display attributes of the ER models changed by the means 104.
