PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronics capable of easily obtaining information on the function of an operating member from a display device. SOLUTION: At every time of depression of a strobe switch 8, the following cycle is performed; 'AUTO'→'softening a red eye'→'OFF'→'AUTO', and the display of an LCD 4 is switched in accordance with the circulation. The functional name of the strobe switch 8; 'strobe mode' is displayed on the 1st line of the dot matrix display part 4a of the LCD 4. As a single display example in this case, it is allowed to directly display the name of the mode which is switched by the circulation, that is, 'on→red eye→off→AUTO' on the 2nd line of the dot matrix display part 4a.
