PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly lay an optical fiber cable by the pneumatically carrying laying method without being affected by an environmental condition or other condition. SOLUTION: A covering material of the optical fiber cable 5 is formed of LLDPE(linear low density polyethylene) to which fatty acid amide is added. A tube 1 is formed of HDPE to which the fatty acid amide is added. The coefficient of friction between the covering material and the tube 1 is lowered and, therefor, the optical fiber cable 5 is certainly laid without being affected by the environmental condition such as temperature, humidity, the distance between the start point and the end point or other conditions in the case of laying the optical fiber cable 5 into the tube 1 by the pneumatically carrying laying method.
