A low-cost reliable organic EL color display that is easy to manufacture. The organic EL color display comprises a substrate, on which are formed a fluorescent conversion layer and/or a color filter containing fluorescent material, an organic layer, a barrier layer, and an organic EL structure in that order. The organic layer is formed of a thermosetting or ultraviolet-setting resin, and the barrier layer contains silicon oxide. |
