PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bright display device with good visibility and sharp and rich colors by forming a non-fluidized layer from side-chain cholesteric liquid crystal polymers having a specified segment, a segment having optically active groups or the like as the recurring unit subjected to Grandjean alignment. SOLUTION: The reflection plate has a nonfluidized layer of side-chain cholesteric liquid crystal polymers subjected to Grandjean alignment. The polymers have a segment expressed by the formula, a segment having optically active group, and a segment showing nematic alignment. The non-fluidized layer is formed as a crosslinked nonfluidized layer by adding a low mol.wt. crosslinking agent having at least one (meth)acryloyl group in the molecule and crosslinking the polymers, and the crosslinked nonfluidized layer has a plurality of reflection regions having different reflection wavelengths based on the effective contents of the optically active groups. In the formula, R1 is a hydrogen atom or methyl group, each of A, B, D is an org. group, and n, m and p satisfy 1<=n<=100 and 0<=m+p<=10. |
