PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use the display area of a display screen with higher efficiency by displaying a selected page identifier on a display screen area set along a side edge of the display screen to show a selected page. SOLUTION: When the page selection keys K21 and K22 are displayed on a photographed image PICI or a reproduced image on a display screen of a liquid crystal display part 27, a page display bar K21B showing the pages is displayed as a rod-like display key extending horizontally on the screen to reduce the areas of both keys K21 and K22 which occupy the display screen. Then the bar K21B is displayed along the upper edge of the screen so that the image PICI or the reproduced image which are shown on the display screen simultaneously with the keys K21 and K22 are seen in an easier way. The bar K21B and the keys 21K and 22K can also be displayed along the left or right edge or the lower edge of the display screen.
