<p>An image display system transmits and receives data capable of being converted by a virtual machine and distributed between a plurality of processing devices connected through transmission lines, and produces and displays images. At least two of the processing devices each include an image display device. At least one of the image display devices includes converter means provided with a virtual machine capable of converting the distributed data into a data format that allows visual presentation, a communication interface for receiving the distributed data from another processing device, and storage means storing image data and accessible from other processing devices through the communication interface. At least one image display device described above and other image display devices provided with the conversion means and the communication interface read part of the image data from the storage means and cooperate to display the image.</p> |
