<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element for absorbing moisture which is reduced in energy loss at regenerating time and an air conditioner the running cost of which can be reduced by using the element. SOLUTION: An element for absorbing moisture is constituted in such a way that a corrugated base material 2 having a corrugated cross section is stuck to the surface of a strip-like base material 1 and a carrier 3 prepared by mixing a moisture absorbent which absorbs moisture and a conductive material is deposited on the surfaces of the base materials 1 and 2. Since carbon black is mixed in the carrier 3 as the conductive material, a moisture absorbing material can be heated directly by feeding electricity to the element. Namely, the moisture absorbing material can be heated efficiently. In addition, when this element for absorbing moisture is applied to an air conditioner, the running cost of the air conditioner can be reduced.</p> |
