<p>The invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising a suspension and shock-absorbing device that is arranged between the chassis and the vehicle body. In order to reduce the risk of injury to vehicle occupants during an accident, the invention provides a sensor device for detecting an imminent impact, whereby the sensor device emits a signal to a control device of the motor vehicle (1) in the instance of an imminent impact. Said control device changes the position of the vehicle body (4) at least on the side of impact by means of the suspension and shock-absorbing device (5, 6).</p> |
