<p>The biologically compatible hydrogel is used for the correction of cosmetic and functional defects, for example in endoprosthetics of mammal glands, vocal cords, penises and others, for the formation of internal tissue depots of medicamentous preparations with prolonged effect, for using as electroconductive immersion medium and for continuous filling of cavities. The hydrogel includes a polymer based on acrylamide produced by using an initiator of the radical polymerization in apyrogenous water which is dispersion medium. The hydrogel, in order to improve the flexibility, the form resistance and stability of the volume implants, or their therapeutical or cosmetic efficiency, respectively, in particular in endoprosthesis, contains laterally bound (cross-linked) polyacrylamide produced in using of biologically tolerable laterally bound (cross-linked) agent, preferably methylene-bis-acrylamide, and as polymerization initiator of polymerization preferably of a mixture of ammonium persulphate and tetramethylethylenediamine.
