PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain efficient and useful data communication by providing an information processing mode at data communication so as to adjust an information quantity or to select a communication speed through placing a limit on reception object data in response to the information processing mode. SOLUTION: The information processing unit is provided with a mode designation means 101 that designates an information processing mode, a reception object data decision means 102 that decides reception object data on the basis of the information processing mode, a communication speed decision means 103 that decides a communication speed, and a communication processing means 104 that receives the reception object data at the decided communication speed so as to reduce the communication processing time by adjusting a data communication quantity and a communication speed in matching with the information processing mode.
