<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and system in which the occurrence of uneven image density and uneven streaks due to the fluctuation of wavelength especially among a plurality of point light sources. SOLUTION: In this color image forming method/system, a color image is formed by using a color photographic sensitive material containing at least a photosensitive silver halide and a hydrophilic binder on a supporting body and using a plurality of point light sources or the collective element of a plurality of point light sources, exposing pixels of different colors in the image at the same time according to digital image data and heat developing the color image. This photosensitive material has at least three photosensitive layers different from each other in spectral sensitivity, and contains at least one diffusion-resistant dye having sufficient absorption for changing the spectral sensitivity distribution of at least one photosensitive layer, and the difference between the spectral sensitivity maximum wavelength of any of these photosensitive layers and the absorption maximum wavelength of the diffusion resistant dye in the photosensitive material is within 30 nm.</p> |
