PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect parts in a case, especially a movement and a windshield, against any impact, by composing an outer shell covering a part of an inner shell from an inner enclosure comprising hard material and an outer enclosure comprising soft material. SOLUTION: This wrist watch case is formed by a metallic inner shell 20 and an outer shell 21 made of a synthetic resin, and the outer shell 21 is composed of an outer enclosure 22 comprising a soft synthetic resin, such as polyurethane or the like, and an inner enclosure 23 comprising a hard synthetic resin, such as polycarbonate or the like. In this case, the outer enclosure 22 is arranged so as to cover the upper surface, side surfaces and the under surface of the inner enclosure 23 so that the inner enclosure 23 is not exposed to the outside. Therefore, an impact applied on the wrist watch case is absorbed by elastic deformation of the outer enclosure 22 comprising soft material, and is not transferred to a movement. As the impact is absorbed by the outer enclosure 22, the inner enclosure 23 is not cracked and intensity of the outer shell 21 is maintained.
