PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile reception system which retransmits a clear image without imposing a lord on the user of a receiving side when an image received by an information processing is unclear. SOLUTION: In this facsimile reception system where an information processor PC 1 is connected to facsimile equipment 2 and an image received by the equipment 2 can be transferred to the PC 1, the equipment 2 transfers image information transmitted from the facsimile equipment of the other party and the terminal number of the other party to the PC 1 when facsimile is received, the PC 1 stores the terminal number of the other party in an other party number storing part 13, outputs a retransmission request including the terminal number of the other party stored in the part 13 to the equipment 2 when the retransmission request is made by an operating part 15, etc., and the equipment 2 makes a call to the facsimile equipment of the terminal number of the other party and transmits a signal including the retransmission request to the facsimile equipment.
