<p>The invention relates to new vaccines for use as immunotherapeutic agents in the treatment of cancer particularly but not limited to prostate cancer. Further the invention relates to alternative culture techniques which offer improved scale-up and processing benefits and significantly improve the activity of vaccines based on whole allogeneic cells or derivatives thereof. It further relates to a method of producing whole cell cancer vaccines which comprise culturing malignant cells under conditions which are not conventional static 2D culture techniques.</p> |
