A contention scheme for an asynchronous bus is set to limit the contention delay of isochronous transactions on an asynchronous bus. First and second devices are coupled to the asynchronous bus to receive isochronous transactions from an isochronous device and the asynchronous bus respectively, and respectively output isochronous transactions to the asynchronous bus and a third device. An independent claim is also included for a system for transferring isochronous data over asynchronous bus. |
