<p>An information receiving terminal device includes a connector and a processor. The connector is selectively connected to one of a plurality of communications paths connected to the network including at least one server. The processor receives, from the server, volume information representing a volume of desired information based on address information representing an address of the desired information stored in the server on the network, via the communications path connected to the connector. The processor selects one communications path from the plurality of communications paths and connects the selected communications path with the connector, based on the volume of the desired information represented by the received volume information.
