The device comprises a vertically moving unit (14) to which the load is attached. A rotational unit (31) is provided for rotating the vertical unit about a vertical axis. A first horizontal mover moves the load along a first run and a second mover takes the load from the first run and moves it along a second. In the same manner, a third mover takes the load from the second run.
