A switch-off arrangement in a step-down switching voltage transformer includes a battery-powered (Batt) switching transistor (T1), with an inductance (L1) arranged between the switching transistor and a filter capacitor (C1) supplying a consumer (load), and a short-circuiting transistor (T2) connected between the connection point to the inductance (L1) and the switching transistor (T1) to earth, and which is switched on at least by overvoltage monitoring (U). A comparator switches off the short-circuit transistor (T2) if the output voltage fails to attain a given comparison value (V2). |
