Multicylinder disc brake

The brake has a caliper with an opposed pair of friction pads, and a piston mounted in a cylinder bore (2). One of the pads in use is pressed into frictional contact with a disk rotor by the piston. A fluid passage in the caliper communicates with the bore, where the passage is defined by a pipe (3, 3a) cast in the caliper. The end portions of the pipe are retracted from an inner wall of the bore.
