PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video display method that actually generates a spatial image, achieves simultaneous appreciation from a plurality of view points, attains communication and storage of data and is operated stably and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: In this stereoscopic video display device, a display control section 13 controls display of a liquid crystal screen layer 12 configured by stacking in multi-layer display bodies 11 each consisting of a 1st liquid crystal screen 11a made of transparent type and absorption type liquid crystals capable of displaying a black/white image and of a 2nd liquid crystal screen 11b made of a scattered type liquid crystal that can freely be converted into a light transparent state or an optical scattering state. A three-dimensional image is generated by producing an image display area and a light transmission area to each of the display bodies 11 so as to differentiate a distance from the image display area of the each display body up to a view point A of an viewer. |
