OLEFIN BASED THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND VEHICLE WEATHERSTRIP USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vehicle exterior trim parts molded from olefin based thermoplastic elastomer compositions which are used as exterior trim materials for vehicles such as automobiles and have sliding properties equal to those filled with nylon piles even without providing such filling and are excellent in abrasion resistance, flexibility and moldability. SOLUTION: Elastomer compositions are obtained by incorporating 1-100 pts.wt. acrylic-modified organopolysiloxane and 1-50 pts.wt. one type of fine particle powder selected from polyethylene based fine particle powder, acrylic fine particle powder, and silicone based fine particle powder into 100 pts.wt. olefin based thermoplastic elastomer. Vehicle exterior trim parts are molded by using these compositions.
