PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely deal with an existing vulcanization line and enable a mold replacing operation to be carried out under a simple structure and at a low cost with high efficiency and high precision by providing a support truck equipped with a traveling master truck and a slave truck to be mounted on the former with a mechanism for moving the slave truck forward/backward and further, providing the slave truck with a mold transfer means and an elevation adjusting means. SOLUTION: The mold replacing truck 20 is equipped with a pair of transfer means 221, 222 for molds 181, 182 and a support truck 23. The support truck 23 has a master truck 24 traveling along a track and a slave truck 25 to be mounted on the master truck 24. The slave truck 25 is acceptably of a unitruck type but is preferably of double trucks 26, 27 construction divided into an upper and a lower part. In addition, the support truck 23 has a mechanism for moving the slave truck 25 forward/backward, which has the function to advance the slave truck 25 to a spot immediately before a symmetrical transfer vulcanizing machine for the molds 181, 182 from the master truck 24 and also return the advanced slave truck 25 to the master truck 24. Consequently, it is possible to adapt the device to the existing condition of a vulcanizing line and realize the positioning operation with high precision and further simplify the structure with a significant cost saving. |
