PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recyclable moistureproof paper allowing a wide selection of adhesive to be used for lamination by coating a beltlike base paper with a water defibration moisture-proof agent so as to leave an uncoated part at the edge of the beltlike base paper. SOLUTION: A beltlike base paper 2 having 30-300 g/m2 weight is coated with a water defibration moisture-roof agent comprising a wax emulsion, a resin emulsion, a latex or their mixture in such a way that a striped uncoated part 5 in parallel with the lengthwise direction of the base paper is formed on one side or both sides of an edge part 3 of the base paper to give the objective recyclable moistureproof paper 1.
