PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curved belt conveyor for giving less damage to a curved belt. SOLUTION: A circular, endless curved belt 7 is provided for carrying materials. On the carrying finishing terminal side of the curved belt 7 at its center in a running direction A, a forwarding side roller part 24 is arranged for holding a forwarding face 15. With the rotation of a forwarding side driving roller 31 and a forwarding side pinch roller 32 of the forwarding side roller part 24, the curved belt 7 runs to cause force of pulling the curved belt 7 to the outer periphery side on the surface and reverse of the forwarding face 15 of the curved belt 7. On the carrying starting terminal side of the curved belt 7 at its center in the running direction A, a backwarding side roller part 25 is arranged. With the rotation of a backwarding side driving roller 41 and a backwarding side pinch roller 42 of the backwarding side roller part 25, the curved belt 7 runs to cause force of pulling the curved belt 7 to the outer periphery side on the surface and reverse of the backwarding face of the curved belt 7.
