PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a die to a working position of a shape steel, while maintaining a positional relationship between a die center and a striker center. SOLUTION: In a shape steel working machine consisting of a machine main body 3, which is arranged with a working mechanism part supporting plural punching dies 21 performing desired working to a long size shape steel, a stock feed table 5, which is arranged on a straight line by interposing the machine main body 3 in both left and right sides of the body 3 and feeds a shape steel to a working position to position and a dimension setting table, the machine main body 3 is mounted on a slider consisting of a slide rail 29 which is arranged movable back/forth with respect to a base plate 27 fixed to a floor face and a slide member 31, thus the machine main body 3 is made movable back/forth by a moving mechanism part.
