PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount both a VTA tip and a HTA chip to one cutting tool for cutting in vertical and horizontal directions at the same time or independently. SOLUTION: A cutting tool 2 has a tapered portion fitted to a head shaft of a machining center. In a plane 9 at the end of a tool body 7, a VTA tip 10 is fitted to a recessed portion and a cutting edge 12 is protruded from the plane 9 at the end and fixed with a fixing screw 13. A HTA tip 14 is fixed to a cutout portion 15 having a face parallelly moved the thickness of the HTA tip 14 on a plane passing through an axis with a fixing screw 18 so that the cutting blade 16 can be protruded a preset height from a tool outer periphery 17. The HTA tip fixed at a slit and having a gap therebehind has a cutting edge 16 movable in and out.
