PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a sound absorbing material to install on a sliding surface on which a flat cable of a cable reel slides at a low cost and to easily install it. SOLUTION: Three to four pieces of recessed parts 15 extended in a rectangular shape from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side are provided with roughly equal intervals in the peripheral direction on upper and lower sliding surfaces or a lower side sliding surface 11c of a cable storage chamber on which both ends in the upper and lower cross directions of a flat cableslide, and a support rod 16 is projectively provided from at least an inner peripheral side end surface of these recessed parts. It is constituted so that an end edge in the cross direction of the flat cable slides on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical acoustic absorbing material and rotated by externally fitting and installing the cylindrical acoustic absorbing material 20 on this support rod 16 and projecting a part of the outer peripheral surface of the acoustic absorbing material 20 from the sliding surface.
