PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold insulating container having a sufficient cold insulation effect, capable of reducing a manufacturing and transportation costs and having an excellent workability and a disposableness, characteristic. SOLUTION: The cold insulating container is cold insulating container 1 with an inner bag 3 made of foamed thermal insulation sheet enclosed in an outer box 2 made of corrugated fiberboard. The inner bag 3 is a single- or double-layer bag. In addition, the foamed thermal insulating sheet is a sheet having closed cells composed of three layers in which a planar plastic film, a plastic film with many embosses, and a planar plastic film are laminated. Alternatively, it is a sheet having closed cells composed of five layers in which a planar plastic film, a plastic film formed with many embosses a planar plastic film, a plastic film with many embosses, and a planar plastic film are laminated. Further alternatively it is a sheet having closed cells in which either a metallic foil layer or metal vapor deposited layer is formed on one surface of the aforesaid planar plastic film.
