PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly take out a single piece of bag on taking out the bag placed on the uppermost layer by sucking and to prevent other bags in the lower layers from being drawn together for taking out by a method wherein a vibrator is provided at an empty bag preparing table whereon a number of empty bags are piled up for setting, and the table is vibrated in the direction of drawing the bags back to the table. SOLUTION: A box-shaped empty bag preparing table 1 is supported at its bottom with plate springs 2, and vibration is given thereto with a vibrator 3. The plate springs 2 are attached so as to draw back empty bags 5 to the upside of the empty bag preparing table 1 by vibration. An expansible/contractible holding arm 8 fixed to a rotative shaft 7 provided at the upper part on the taking-out side 6 of the empty bag preparing table 1 is expanded, and an empty bag 13 laid on the uppermost layer of the empty bags 5 folded up and laid in a large number of layers is lifted up by means of vacuum sucking with a sucker 9 and the holding arm 8 is contracted and at the same time, the empty bag preparing table 1 is vibrated in the direction of drawing back the empty bags 5. Then, the rotative shaft 7 is rotated to turn the holding arm 8, a lifting arm 10 and a supplementary arm 11, and the empty bag 13 is placed upright and held with its opening opened.
