PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit error data by changing over a transmission direction without clogging a buffer with data even if data receiving processing is stopped by the generation of an error. SOLUTION: An apparatus for processing received printing data is equipped with a memory means for storing received printing data, a measuring means for measuring the quantity of the received printing data and a control means for judging the magnitude relation between the quantity of printing data received on the basis of the measured result and the reference quantity of control to control the stop and resumption of reception and the control means delays a printing data receiving speed on the basis of the measured result to adjust reception and processing. |
